I started my career in design at Blackpool University where I graduated with First class honours in Graphic Design. After working freelance for that summer I was selected to embark on a paid Masters degree working along side Attik with students from all around the world on projects for global clients such as Pepsi, Reebok and Wanadoo.
On completing my Masters degree I set up a company with one of my fellow students. We ran Clearly Design successfully for two years and won a 'rising star' award, before I decided to work within an agency environment. A move across the Pennines saw me join Elevator Creative where I am now employed as a Senior Designer and have been broadening my experience since 2007.
From these beginnings I’ve gone on to put seven years of commercial experience under my belt, working within the digital industry and completing numerous projects for clients that range from local businesses to multi-national giants.
I have developed advanced skills in using Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, CSS, XHTML and Flash.
When I’m not devising new ideas and creating new designs I like to keep myself active. A keen rugby player with the honour of having played and toured with Great Britain’s Young Lions across Australia and France. These days I still play rugby regularly, ( for a local team called Mancunians RL ) but also enjoy climbing and football.
